As Vice President of Event Operations & Services for UBM, Lori leads a team of operations, customer service, venue planning, housing and event systems personnel supporting leading face-to-face brands across UBM TechWeb and TechInsights. She has an extensive background in tradeshow and event management with more than 20 years of experience. Her experience includes all aspects of trade show management including portfolio management, sales, marketing, conference management, operations, registration and financial management.
In addition to producing over 290 events in her career, Lori's experience includes managing custom events and association events for clients such as Santa Cruz Operations, Pac Bell, Silicon Valley Institute, National Utility Contractors Association, Energy & Telecommunications Association and the International Autobody Congress.
She was project director and led the development of an intensive, 5-week training program in tradeshow management including training in sales, marketing, operations, contract negotiations, legal and accounting issues and conference/content management. The program was featured in Expo Magazine and Tradeshow Week.
